DOJ sues Medicare Advantage plans over alleged ‘kickbacks’ paid to insurance brokers

The U.S. Department of Justice is alleging that Medicare Advantage plans paid hundreds of millions of dollars in “kickbacks” to get some patient steered into their programs and avoid other, more costly patients.
