Donors gave $4B on GivingTuesday 2025 as gifts and volunteering gain big over last year

NEW YORK — Americans gave $4 billion to nonprofits on GivingTuesday this week, an increase from the $3.6 billion they gave in 2024, according to estimates from the nonprofit behind the Dec. 2 philanthropy blitz.
