Photos: Crowds fill street as Buddhist monks on ‘Walk for Peace’ arrive in Columbia

For more than two miles, crowds stretched down U.S. 1 between West Columbia and Columbia to see the group of Buddhist monks and their rescue dog Aloka as they journeyed through the Midlands on their 2,300-mile “Walk for Peace.”
