MP lawmakers examine beefing animal cruelty laws

South Carolina Animal Welfare Alliance’s mission to improve animal cruelty laws at the local and state levels recently prompted Mount Pleasant lawmakers to discuss amendments to the town’s ordinance against animal neglect and abuse cases.
