Berkeley High School welding students build bear-proof dumpster lids for Chimney Rock campground

Berkeley High School Welding III students designed and built two 600-pound bear-proof dumpster lids for Dogwood RV Park in Chimney Rock, North Carolina, after learning the campground was struggling with nightly bear intrusions during ongoing recovery from Hurricane Helene.
