Charleston Animal Society to run Berkeley shelter

The number of stray, abandoned and surrendered animals continues to increase as new puppies and kittens inundate shelters. Maintaining a no-kill shelter system takes teamwork, and that is why Berkeley County and Charleston County are making some changes.
