DD2 to redistrict students, repurpose 1960s-era elementary school into program hub

The Dorchester District Two School Board voted unanimously to redistrict over 500 students currently attending James H. Spann Elementary in Summerville. The aging building, located in a flood zone, will be repurposed for other education programs.
