Dr. James Winebrake named as CCU president

Dr. James Winebrake will replace Dr. Michael Benson starting July 7, 2025, as the next president of Coastal Carolina University. Winebrake will be the university’s fourth president since the school, located in Conway, became an independent university in 1993.
