Edisto Gold Honey bee farm catches fire, damaging hives amid dry weather conditions

A stray ember sparked a multi-acre fire at a local honey bee farm on April 23. Mark Connelly of Edisto Gold Honey said roughly half of the hives at the Dorchestor County yard were lost.
