Myrtle Beach claims North Myrtle isn’t paying to use its water lines. Now the city is suing.

Myrtle Beach has accused North Myrtle Beach of pulling nearly 25 billion gallons of water through Myrtle Beach’s water transmission lines without compensation as well as taking water at “excessive rates and pressures,” according to the Jan. 30 lawsuit.
