Recount ahead as Pounds leads Isle of Palms mayor race by 6 votes

Incumbent Mayor Phillip Pounds led by a thin margin in Isle of Palms’ runoff race on Nov. 18. Just six votes separated him from opponent Scott Pierce, meeting the threshold for an automatic recount.
