Salley voters choose Ronald Sturkie for mayor

Ronald Sturkie is on track to be Salley’s next mayor, in the wake of a July 1 election bringing 76 votes for Sturkie, 62 for write-in candidate Rosalyn Hicks and three write-ins for “another person.”
