Scout Motors eyes SC and other states for a corporate headquarters with 1,000 jobs

Scout, which is investing $1.2 billion in an electric-vehicle factory near Columbia, is aiming to pick a site for the office project this summer. It said the project will create “a significant number of well-paying jobs.”
