Spanish Vanguard, soccer poetry discussed at ‘Aiken in the Alley’ series

A small but engaged crowd gathered recently for “The Spanish Vanguard and Soccer Poetry,” a slideshow presentation led by Tim Ashton, professor of Spanish at USC Aiken, that explored the relationship between literature, culture and the world’s most popular sport.
