This SC husband and wife have coached cross country for 28 years. They finally won a state title.

The Green Sea Floyds High boys cross country team won the Class 1A state championship on Nov. 14. The team is coached by Charles and Phyllis Elvington, who have led the program for 28 years. It’s their first state title.
