Tops in tuba: Wagener student wins award for musical excellence

Tuba player Blake Kirkland, an eighth-grader at A.L. Corbett Middle School, has secured some high ground among Aiken County’s music students by winning all-state honors. He was named as the fifth-chair honoree for his instrument.
