‘Trophy’ Charleston building sells for $4.5M, finds new path after generations in one family

The new owners of the 3-story building, built in 1794 and owned by the Jacobson family for decades, plan to follow tradition with similar businesses inside and a new name that nods to a famous NYT best-selling author.
