Volvo’s Ridgeville plant to make a new car and double its workforce

Volvo Cars unveiled plans at its 10-year anniversary event to bring its Ridgeville, SC, plant to full capacity. A new hybrid car in design is expected to double the workforce and bring production to 150,000 vehicles a year.
