Wassamasaw Historical marker

The Wassamasaw Tribe unveiled a historical marker at Governors Park on Feb. 1, honoring the legacy of the Etiwan people, the original inhabitants of Daniel Island. The marker highlights their history and the tribe’s ongoing efforts for federal recognition.
