DOGESC introduces proposal to restructure state’s judge selection process

The grassroots organization DOGESC announced Tuesday, Oct. 21, its first legislative initiative: a judicial reform bill that would alter the process of selecting judges in South Carolina by removing legislative control over the Judicial Merit Selection Commission (JMSC).
