Spartanburg police arrest 20 homeless people near soup kitchen ahead of Spartanburgers’ opening day

The roundup happened with little warning and caught people who had just been served at the soup kitchen, Executive Director Monica Floyd said. Police denied the arrests were tied to baseball.
